TSIA2 College Readiness Exam (Math) - 10th Graders Only

Description
Texas Success Initiative (TSI) & TSIA2 Testing

The Texas Success Initiative (TSI) is a state requirement that ensures students are prepared for college-level coursework before enrolling in classes for college credit. Students can demonstrate college readiness by meeting benchmark scores on approved assessments such as the SAT, ACT, or TSIA2. Meeting these benchmarks can save students time and money by helping them avoid developmental courses in college.

The TSI Assessment (TSIA2) is a Texas-specific college readiness exam that measures skills in English Language Arts and Reading (ELAR), Math, and an Essay.

All 10th grade students will take the Math portion of the TSIA2 on January 28, 2026, and the ELAR and Essay portions on February 12, 2026. Students will complete practice activities in Advisory and English classes prior to testing. There is no cost to students, and Plano ISD is committed to ensuring all students graduate college ready.
