Shepton PTSA has earned the prestigious Texas PTA Head Start Award! 

PTSA Members, thanks to your incredible energy and dedication, our PTSA kicked off the year with a bang, reaching 75% or more of last year's total membership right out of the gate!

Did your student miss getting their yearbook picture made? No worries--Picture Makeup Day is tomorrow! 

Shepton will hold a Makeup Fall Picture Day on Friday, September 26 for any student who missed the original date or would like a retake.

The Shepton PTSA is raising funds to support $2,000 in Staff Innovative Grant requests — and we need your help! Your tax-deductible donation made today will directly benefit Shepton students and staff.

Each year, our teachers and staff submit grant requests that spark student engagement, encourage growth, and enrich the Shepton community. Thanks to the generosity of PTSA members, these grants become a reality — every dollar donated goes straight to programs that impact our students.

On Wednesday, October 1, all Shepton students will be given one of the SAT Suite of Assessments. Freshmen will take the PSAT 8/9 and sophomores will take the PSAT/NMSQT. Plano ISD administers these tests each school year to its students during the school day, at no cost to you. 

The PSAT 9 and PSAT/NMSQT are used to measure student preparedness for the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT). The SAT is used for college readiness and is a part of the acceptance criteria in most colleges and universities.

The National PTA Reflections Art Contest is open, and we can't wait to see your creativity! Reflections is a National PTA sponsored arts recognition program that encourages artistic expression.  

The Reflections theme this year is “I Belong!”

Deadline: Friday, October 31 at 4:00 PM at the Shepton front office (entry form required with each submission)

Important! A student or family member must be a PTSA member on or before October 31. Join here!
