Shepton PTSA Staff Casserole Day Success!

Thank you to our incredible Shepton Families who donated take-home casserole dinners for our entire Shepton staff!

Remaining 2024 STAAR/EOC Test Dates!

One more STAAR/EOC test to go! 

Shepton Algebra I students will undergo Algebra I EOC testing on Tuesday, April 30 (makeup date is May 3).

On testing days, students should come to school with a charged Chromebook, water bottle, and a snack. Make sure to get plenty of rest the night before your test and eat a healthy breakfast before testing!

Shepton Senior Scholarship Opportunity!

Shepton PTSA is offering two $500 scholarships to graduating Plano ISD seniors who are two-year alumni of Shepton High School. 

*Applicants must meet all of the qualifications, including being a student member of Shepton PTSA during both years at Shepton.

Applications are due no later than April 30 and must be delivered or mailed to Georgette Bird. Address and contact info is in the application here

Plano West 24-25 Physical Day is May 8!

Plano West is hosting its annual Physical Day for all West Cluster athletes on Wednesday, May 8 from 3:00-6:00 p.m. in the Plano West SAC. Each physical is just $20, and all students must pre-register/pre-pay before arriving at Plano West. 

Visit here for forms and instructions, including medical history forms, payment information, and instructions. Times for each group are listed as well. Please make sure to attend during your group’s time slot and be on time!

All students participating in Plano ISD UIL activities are required to have a yearly physical prior to participation in any tryouts, practices, games, or competitions for PISD athletics. 

Physical Day Reminders:

  • All athletes must have a current signed medical history to attend.
  • Registration and payment must be completed before arriving for your time slot.
  • Physicals must be completed on the official UIL physical form.

National Walk, Bike, & Roll to School Day is May 8!

Plano ISD families are invited to participate in the National Walk, Bike and Roll to School Day, in partnership with the cities of Plano, Dallas, Richardson and Murphy on Wednesday, May 8!

This inaugural event encourages students, parents and staff to celebrate the joy of active commuting while building a sense of community and school spirit by promoting:

  • Healthy habits
  • A cleaner environment
  • Safe routes to and from school
