PISD Holiday Tomorrow, Friday, April 18!

Shepton and Plano ISD will be closed to students and staff tomorrow, Friday, April 18. We hope you have a wonderful extended weekend, and we will see you on Monday, April 21!

Spring Step Out is Monday, April 21!

Step Out is returning to Shepton on Monday, April 21! During an extended lunch period, your student is encouraged to "Step Out" and have lunch outside with friends.

Shepton Student Council has lined up several food trucks, such as Panda Express, Bobaddiction, and Tropical Smoothie. Shepton PTSA will also have drinks, chips, and Papa John's pizza slices (the overwhelming choice by our student PTSA members!) available for purchase with cash, credit/debit, or Apple Pay!

Plus, the Step Out DJ will be spinning the best tunes!

Take a look at the Step Out Menu with all the great food and drink options (click to enlarge)

Watch for more information from Shepton soon, including a revised bell schedule.

We are so excited that Step Out is coming back for spring! It's going to be such a fun day for our students!

We Are Looking for Step Out Volunteers!

Donate a Shepton Staff Dinner To Go for Casserole Day!

Our annual Shepton PTSA Staff Appreciation Casserole Day is coming up on May 7, and PTSA needs your help!

Each year on Casserole Day, PTSA sends our Shepton staff PTSA members home with a complete Dinner To Go as an extra "thank you" for supporting our PTSA. Help PTSA treat each Shepton staff PTSA member to a Dinner To Go by donating today!

‼️ We are super close to meeting our goal! ‼️ Currently, we are in need of just 20 more donated dinners to ensure that every staff PTSA member goes home with a dinner. Dinners are $35 each, and include a casserole, salad, rolls, and dessert in a reusable bag.

🍽️ Click Here to Donate a Dinner (or Two)! 🍽️

All donors' names will listed on our Thank You cards included in each Dinner To Go bag.

Shepton Student Health & Safety
Test Your Vape Pen Recognition!

Take a look at this article's image (click to enlarge). Could you spot a vape pen? These devices can be difficult to spot, and are frequently disguised as USB drives or even colorful tubes that look like lipstick

These vape pens can contain nicotine, THC, or other harmful substances that pose serious health risks.

Parents, please be aware of what these devices look like and discuss the potential dangers with your children, as vaping can lead to addiction, respiratory problems, and other long-term effects.

As a reminder, in Texas, it is illegal for any individual under the age of 21 to buy or own tobacco products, including e-cigarettes or vape devices.

Keep Our School & Community Safe!

See something, say something! Shepton Families, please encourage and empower your students to speak up and report any illegal activity that they may witness on campus using the Plano Campus Crime Stoppers Anonymous Tip Line.

Save and use this link from the privacy of your own phone or computer to report any illegal activities, including student vaping.  Or, scan the QR code in the image to go directly to the Shepton High School tip form.

Let's all work together to keep Shepton safe for everyone!
