• July 22: Skyward Family Access opens for 24-25 annual registration (Skyward replaces PISD Parent Portal; see below for more information)
• August 8: Shepton Salute schedule walk from 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
• August 13: First day of school with new times. School begins at 9:05 a.m. and dismisses at 4:30 p.m.

This year's Shepton Salute is Thursday, August 8 from 10:00 a.m. through 1:00 p.m. During Shepton Salute, your student can walk their schedule (schedule release date/time TBD), pick up School Supplies Packs and PTSA Spirit Wear, and reconnect with school friends.

Shepton staff will also be on hand to help with questions, including how to complete required school forms and outstanding school fines.

You won’t want to miss this, so please plan to attend if you are able!

Skyward Family Access opens Monday, July 22 at 9:00 a.m. for annual registration.

Plano ISD is implementing Skyward Family Access for parents and students for the 2024–2025 school year. Each year, parents of existing and newly enrolled Plano ISD students must update several annual registration requirements.

What is Skyward? Skyward Family Access will replace the PISD Parent Portal and PISD Gradebook, and will include a mobile app.

How do I use Skyward? Skyward Family Access portal is an easy-to-use web resource, available on any device with an internet connection. It allows parents and guardians to access information about their students, such as attendance, grades, assignments, schedules, progress reports, and report cards.

Plano ISD and the City of Plano are teaming up again for the 6th Annual Back-to-School Fair!

This fun and informative event will provide all the resources, services, and information you need to kick off a successful new school year, including:

• Backpacks filled with school supplies (Plano ISD families must register in advance and students must be present with tickets)
• School registration/enrollment services
• Free haircuts
• Boxes of shelf-stable food
• Health screenings and immunizations
• Plus, many district departments, city services, and community agencies will be on hand to share valuable resources!
