Help PTSA "Deck the Halls" with Teacher Appreciation!

Join the Shepton PTSA in spreading holiday cheer to our dedicated teachers and staff! This season, we would like to present each staff member with a GIFT CARD as a token of gratitude. The cards will be distributed by Shepton Administration during the last week of school from December 18-21.

Share the holiday spirit with your hardworking Shepton staff and donatehere! Your donation will allow PTSA to purchase an assortment of gift cards from various popular stores.

Our goal is *150 gift cards* to ensure that everyone working at Shepton feels appreciated! 

If you wish to donate, please do so by Saturday, December 9.

Your generosity will help us Deck the Halls with Teacher Appreciation Gift Cards and spread warmth this festive season. Thank you for your support!

Shepton Market Day Returns Friday, December 8!

Our December Shepton Market Day will be on Friday, December 8 during all four lunches from 11:45 am - 1:45 pm in the cafeteria.

Students are encouraged to bring cash or check payments to shop and support the different student organizations and various sports Booster Clubs. Parents are welcome to shop at Shepton Market Day, and must check in (ID required) at the front office before visiting.

Shepton Sapphires 24-25 Prep Class on December 13!

Attention all Sapphire hopefuls for the 2024-2025 school year! We are having our first FREE prep class of the year on Wednesday, December 13 and we can’t wait to meet you!  

Prep class will be from 5:00-6:30 p.m. in the Shepton High School Gym.

Fall Semester Exams Schedule

Semester Exams are quickly approaching and will be the week of December 18-21. Shepton is asking all families to arrange trips and any other absences to ensure that students are present for their exams as scheduled.

Please note: Student dismissal is at 1:00 p.m. on all exam days, with buses running at 1:15 p.m.

Students with 0 Hour classes at West: You will take your 8th Period test on Monday, December 18 during the 1st Period Exam Time at West. Your 0 Hour Exam will be on Thursday, December 21 at 11:05 a.m. at West.

Winter Break Is Coming!

This year's Winter Break runs Friday, December 22 through Monday, January 8 with no school for students & staff. The Shepton campus will be closed December 22 through January 5.

Shepton teachers & staff will return on Monday, January 8.

Students return & the spring semester begins on Tuesday, January 9.

We hope everyone has a wonderful and restful Winter Break!

Texas PTA Life Membership 2023-2024 Nominations Open!

Shepton PTSA needs your help in order for us to recognize exemplary people in our Shepton Community who have made an exceptional difference in the lives of our children and youth. Do you know such a person?

An Honorary Texas PTA Life Membership is one of the highest honors presented to an individual by the Texas PTA for their outstanding contributions to the well-being of our children. Nominees may be a Shepton teacher/staff member, parent volunteer, or a PTA leader.

If you would like to nominate a deserving individual for their contributions to Shepton High School, please fill out the Texas PTA Life Membership Nominating Form here no later than January 12, 2024.

The Life Membership Nominating Committee comprised of our PTA leaders will review all nominations and will make the final decision. Each honoree and their guest will be invited to a special PTA Life Membership Reception compliments of Shepton PTSA.

Plano ISD Happenings
Plano ISD Long-Range Facility Planning Meetings

As part of Plano ISD’s ongoing strategic road-mapping process and as the district begins work on a long-range facility plan, Plano ISD families, staff, and community members are invited to attend and participate in a community input meeting near you. 

Meetings are conveniently located at six locations throughout the district, and some meetings will have Spanish translation or sign language interpreters available. Click here to see a list of meeting dates and times. 

You can attend any meeting in any cluster/attendance zone. The next West Cluster meeting is Tuesday, April 9. 2024 at Shepton.
